Soldering Operator | Ottawa, ON

Our client is currently looking for experienced PLR Operators/Soldering Operators for their day (8-4) and evening (4-12) shifts.  Under close supervision, the Soldering Operator will solder sensitive optical devices, and have the ability to utilize, understand and follow Kitting protocols for planned and customized orders. If you have completed a 26-week college course in Electronics Assembly or have the equivalent in education and experience, this is the job for you! Successful candidates will possess the ability to solder complex PCBs, use torque hand tools, microscope, and soldering/de-soldering equipment. Specific skills also include mastering soldering IPC-7711/7721 rework, repair and modification of printed boards and electronic assemblies, soldering J-STD-001 requirements for soldered electrical and electronic assemblies, and soldering IPC-A-610E electronic assembly acceptability. Fiber Optic Splicing Operator  | Ottawa, ON

We’re looking to fill Fiber Optic Splicing Operators for our client who needs staff to join their midnights (12-8) and weekend (8-8) teams. Once hired as Fiber Optic Splicing Operator, the successful candidate will carry out assigned tasks in a highly structured, repetitive environment.

Debug Technician | Ottawa, ON

An opportunity is available for Debug Technicians to join our client’s growing team. Candidates are needed for both days (8-4) and evening (4-12) shifts. If selected, all successful candidates will work to carry out repetitive testing where product and process differentiation is required to assist in fault determination, conduct product inspection or testing, in addition to using a variety of current software to properly execute required computer transactions, such as SFDC, Agile, and Excel. SMT Operator | Ottawa, ON

Are you an experienced SMT Operator? We currently have openings on the days, evenings, midnight, and weekend shifts (8-8). With general supervision, the SMT Operator will carry out the broadest variety, or most complex tasks in a highly structured, repetitive environment. A key part of this role is to demonstrate the most complex production tasks in a consistent manner, to produce and/or test a high volume of quality product in the shortest possible time, and/or to maintain aggressive production schedules. Alternatively, this role may be extremely flexible to work on most or all products and processes within the manufacturing operation, dependent upon the need within the production schedule. Duties include loading and unloading feeders, loading SMT carriages, inventory management, performing cycle counts and assisting in Mechanical Assembly, Packaging and other areas if needed.
